Introduction to Pensions for Payroll
The range and complexity of pension schemes inevitably causes misunderstandings and errors. This comprehensive practical workshop examines the types of scheme, their differences and how employee contributions are controlled.
The role and duties of employers and the various statutory bodies including PCB, OPAS, IRSPSS, DWP and FSA are explained.
The focus is on the implications for employers and employees with particular emphasis on payroll processing and procedures. Included are employment and membership starter and leavers, changes and the actual payroll outputs.
