Hot beverage skills, Bar service skills Students will develop a full range of skills to equip them for a career in the hospitality industry, including food production, food and beverage service, customer service and Barista skills. The course is delivered in our brand new facilities at the Printworks Campus. These facilities provide learners with the knowledge and opportunity to develop their skills and techniques in food preparation and food and beverage service.
You will have an opportunity to study in the practical training kitchens and the Food Academy @ Printworks restaurant, where you can hone your skills under the expert eye of your subject tutors. 2 x GCSE Grade (A – C) of which 1 should include English and a desire to work in the hospitality industry. Students have the opportunity at this stage to commence employment in the hospitality industry or to further their studies and progress onto the Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Professional Cookery.
