Aim A 1 year course that develops your technical, design and business skills particularly in the area of computing.

· Design websites
· Use business software
· Learn about ICT security.

You will be given assignments that are the same kind of tasks you would be given at work, such as creating spreadsheets, databases, websites, user manuals and more.

Progression/career opportunities
Successful completion of this course at distinction level enables you to go onto the Advanced Diploma in IT or the Advanced BAF Diploma qualification or find employment in a junior ICT role such as a trainee ICT support technician, database assistant or junior web designer.

Extra information You will also have the opportunity to retake Maths and/or English if necessary.

Screening
Students will also be screened (in the College) and must achieve literacy and numeracy at the level appropriate to the course.
