Summary
ECDL Extras iTQ is a Certificate for IT Users building skills and knowledge in various IT areas to achieve a nationally recognised qualification based on the ECDL qualification.
About the Course
iTQ consists of a mandatory unit â€" Improving Productivity Using IT and three additional units in Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Presentations. The course is studied using a CD ROM and there is a test at the end of each unit â€" All tests take 45 minutes and are done online except for the Improving Productivity Using IT which is a paper-based 1 hour test.
The course is offered either through our iTForAll drop-in provision, as part of our work-based learning programme or via distance learning when the learner will be allocated a personal tutor to guide and support them through the course and help book the tests.
Course Aims
By the end of the course learners will achieve a full Level 2 IT Qualification equivalent to an NVQ Level 2.

How is the course assessed?
45 minute online tests at the end of each unit except for the mandatory unit which is a paper-based test taking 1 hour. All tests to be done at our learning centres.
