This is a flexible qualification that is aimed at anyone who uses the computer on a regular basis or as part of their work role. There is a choice of modules, which will tailor your qualification to suit your particular needs. A reasonable knowledge of IT is needed for you to be able to complete this course.

Course Length
6 to 9 Months. As you work at your own pace, it is possible to achieve it in a shorter period of time, depending on your current skills and knowledge.
What will I study?
Various units of Microsoft Office software can be studied. You will be able to choose which units, as ITQ works on a point system and you will need 100 points to gain a level 2 qualification; your assessor will help you plan this.

How will I learn?
You will be given the mandatory unit plus a list of optional units to choose from and your assessor will guide and help you to gain the knowledge and underpinning skills required for each unit.
How will I be assessed?
With your assessor, you will draw up an assessment and learning plan each visit, which will include types of evidence you will need to collect. Your assessor will then verify that your evidence is sufficient for the unit and make sure it has been recorded correctly. Your assessor will also help you to put a portfolio together.
