Our clinical update courses are advanced and specialist and are designed to keep qualified nurses and physiotherapists aware of the latest research, theory and information in relation to the management of specific conditions.
Learning outcomes and objectives
- To understand the importance of care-planning to the quality of service received by residents.
- To understand the importance of holistic care-planning, which takes account of physical, social and emotional needs of residents.
- To understand how an effective key worker has a role in promoting an individual’s identity and individuality.

- Health and Social Care NVQ units 21, 24, 31, 35, 328, 41, 45 and 14.
Half day courses usually run from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. / 1.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
