Course programme
To achieve the NPTC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Animal Management, learners are required to achieve 10 credits from the Mandatory unit and a further 50 credits attained from additional units. A total of 60 credits are required to achieve the qualification.

There are four learning outcomes to this unit. The learner will:
1. Be able to recognise indicators of health in animals
2. Understand common disease and disorders, their treatment and prevention
3. Be able to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of animals
4. Know how to deliver and record basic animal treatments
