About the course:
This Qualification replaces the Registered Managers Award from August 2008.

This Qualification meets the CSCI requirements for registered managers as a appropiate level management Certificate.

This course has been designed for managers of residential homes, nursing homes or domiciliary care establishments. The qualification is an essential requirement for registration under the National Minimum Care Standards.

Course Content:
This course has 8 units 4 of which are mandatory : -

1, Manage and develop yourself and your workforce within care services.

2, Lead and manage provision of care services that respects, protests and promotes the rights and responsibilities of people.

3, Develop and maintain systems, procedures and practice of care services to manage risks and comply with health and safety requirements.

4, Lead and manage effective communication thst promotes positive outcomes for people within care services.

Equipment Requirements:
Access to internet and use of IT.

A4 lever Arch folder

Assessment:
This is an NVQ Qualification where observation and professional discussion are the main methods of evidence.

Some essay style written work will be required to meet knowledge requirements.

NVQ Level 4 Care
