This module explores and analyses key concepts and theoretical frameworks underpinning effective leadership in healthcare. It facilitates the development of leadership skills and characteristics necessary for transformational leadership as a means of maximising the patient experience and providing best practice in service delivery in a healthcare context. Entry requirements for BSc Health Sciences (online) programme:

  • 120 Level 4 credit points and 120 Level 5 credit points in healthcare-related subjects

Entry requirements for study as a stand-alone module:

  • Current registration with a professional and regulatory body (healthcare)
English Requirements

For those students whose first language is not English one of the following qualifications is also required:

  • IELTS: 7.0

Please note that due to changes in the UKVI's list of SELTs we are no longer able to accept TOEFL as evidence of English language for students who require a CAS as of April 2014.
