This module explores and analyses key concepts and theoretical frameworks underpinning effective leadership in healthcare. It facilitates the development of leadership skills and characteristics necessary for transformational leadership as a means of maximising the patient experience and providing best practice in service delivery in a healthcare context. You will explore leadership at three levels: individual leadership, leading teams and organisational leadership.The overall aim of this module is to help you to develop the knowledge, skills and awareness that enable professionals and managers to transform their practice through reflective leadership and in so doing achieve world-class standards of performance..........................................................................................................................................................................This is a Nursing Studies top-up degree programme module. - Current registration with a professional and regulatory body (healthcare)
For those students whose first language is not English one of the following qualifications is also required:
- IELTS: 7.0
