Ever have a great idea but couldn't get anyone to listen? These days success at every level of business depends not only on good ideas, but on the ability to communicate them. Good ideas need somebody to lead them through the process, somebody skilled at persuasion.
This insightful programme demonstrates the process of effective persuasion. It follows a supervisor has an interesting idea for improving production, but almost no-one on his team wants to listen. Fortunately, one fellow team member thinks he may have a good idea. She guides him through the three essential steps of persuasion: preparation, presentation and response. She also emphasises that persuasion is not about winning; instead, it's about making sure all ideas get presented in the best possible light.
