This is a fun course that will enable you to play a very laid-back, beachy, fun, tropical song on a Steel Drum (or even a Steel Drum app) for your friends and family. You will learn the notes to play at a VERY SLOW speed, gaining confidence, until you can play the song at full speed. Once you learn the basic notes that comprise the song, you will be playing along with the instructor. Once you're comfortable with that, you'll add a metronome to keep the beat, and then YOU will take the lead!The course is meant for beginners with no musical knowledge, Who this course is for:Anyone that would like to learn a fun song on the Steel Drum (or a Steel Drum app)

About this course

You will first watch a video of the entire song being played at full speed, so you will see the goal you're trying to attain. Then, you will learn the notes of the song and how to play each section. Then you will play the song along with the instructor at a moderate speed. Then you will add a metronome to the song to "keep the beat". Then you will play along with the instructor to the beat of the metronome. At the end of the course, you will play the song to the beat of the metronome and successfully "take the lead" on the Steel Drum
