ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will already have completed an entry level 3 or level one IT users course and be familiar with standard computing and internet terminology and using office software such as Microsoft Word or similar.

Candidates who do not hold these types of qualification would be expected to have reasonable experience of using IT at home or in the workplace and be looking for certification. In addition good English language skills are essential.

All applicants will be asked to sit a short diagnostic assessment of their literacy and IT skills to ensure they are at a suitable level for this course.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE

You will also have the opportunity to design and create basic animations for use in your website using Adobe Flash (CS4) as well as carryout simple image editing using Adobe Photoshop (CS4).
PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
Progression from this level 1 course would be to the C&G L2 Web Development program where you will build on the skills previously learnt at the lower level and become more familiar with the Adobe suite of professional software (Dreamweaver CS4, Flash CS4 & Photoshop CS4). Alternatively you may wish to join the more professional Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) course which is an ideal step up for those wishing to achieve professional certification from the leader in this field; Adobe (please note this is a full cost course with no concessions).
