On completion of the training, successful candidates should have the knowledge to:

Identify hazardous substances and their potential health effects.
Understand the requirements for the completion of a Coshh assessment and the control measures to be adopted
Understand the fundamental requirements of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2005
Select appropriate control measures relative to the hazard.
To be able to undertake a Coshh assessment
