What is the course about?
Removal of hair using 100% cotton thread by hand method.

What are the course outcomes?
Students will be able to remove hair from a range of areas and will have the theoretical knowledge to meet the criteria.

Are there any additional requirements?
Materials:The student will be expected to purchase materials and basic equipment as the course progresses.

Uniform:Students MUST be dressed in a white tunic uniform top with navy trousers and shoes.

Other:Candidates will need to provide a model on a number of occasions for practical work and assessments.

Note: Units VR02 nad VR74 (Health and Safety) will need to be taken if you have not achieved them previously within three years of completing this qualification.

How will you be assessed?
A range of assessment methods will be used including:
Observation of practical skills - Oral questioning and written evidence. Plus an external multiple choice paper. Continual assessment is carried out by an VTCT Verifier/Tutor. For assessment purposes at least

80% attendance is required.
