Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying / NVQ2 Level (Part Time)

Is this course for me?
This course suits people who are not in work and would like to
gain a qualification in the building industry but do not have
access to the work experience necessary for a full NVQ.
Construction awards can be upgraded into full NVQs when the student
becomes employed.
What will I study?
The programme is offered as a continuation from the Level 1
Diploma in Bricklaying and consists of practical and theoretical
study.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need to have achieved the Level 1 Diploma in
Bricklaying/NVQ Level 1.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is on practical skills and theoretical knowledge,
including short tests, subject assignments and completion of
work-based evidence books. Students also meet regularly with tutors
to help plan studies and to discuss progress.
What can I do next?
This can lead to Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying, or Bricklaying
NVQ Level 3. This can also lead to employment in the building
industry.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
