Building on the level one web design course the Level 2 Web Development program follows the City & Guilds syllabus and will develop your already existing skills and introduce you to Dreamweaver web design software. The course will cover developing multi-page websites using the Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4) including Flash for 2D animation and site interactivity and Photoshop for image.

This course is not for computer web design novices. It is expected that candidates would have completed a level one web design course, have good overall computer skills with a minimum experience in using Office based software or currently be working within this environment at a junior level and be seeking to update to the most recent software from Adobe (CS4).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This course is not for computer web design novices. It is expected that candidates would have completed a level one web design course, have good overall computer skills with a minimum experience in using Office based software or currently be working within this environment at a junior level and be seeking to update to the most recent software from Adobe (CS4).
All potential candidates will be asked to sit a short IT skills and literacy diagnostic assessment to ensure they are at the right level for the course.

PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
Progression from this course would be to the Level Three Advanced Web Design course or onto the CIW (Certified Internet Web proffesional) program. Your tutor will be able to provide full details.
