Course description You'll be learning about a range of accounting principles and skills such as: accounts preparation, how to prepare final accounts for sole-traders and partnerships, cost and revenues, professional ethics, indirect tax, spreadsheets and software.  There are also modules which cover: - Evaluating costs and revenues - Reports and returns - Managing information systems information technology - Maintaining financial records - Health and safety in the workplace

3. Entry requirements Students must have ONE of the following:      To have completed or be exempt from the AAT Foundation Stage (e.g academic 'A' levels)     Practical experience  Adults 19+ who have industry experience but do not have the necessary qualifications are welcome to apply.  All students will be requested to attend an assessment test. Students must become a member of the AAT within 2 weeks of commencing the course. Information regarding membership is available via the AAT on or 0845 8630802 Please contact ncn or the AAT direct for advice on exemptions. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method Skills tests, examinations and practical assessments. As part of the practical assessment, students will be encouraged to obtain work-based evidence wherever possible to include in their portfolio.
