What qualifications do I need to study on the course?
As well as a Grade C in Mathematics you'll need at least 5 grades C at GCSE or equivalent.

What will I study?

You will study twelve units which will include topics such as using ICT for communication, how organisations implement and utilise ICT and technical aspects of hardware, software and networks. The majority of your lessons will involve using computer software to solve tasks. During theory lessons you will acquire technical knowledge of software, hardware and operating systems. There are also a variety of trips and visits past destinations have included a car manufacturing plant and Alton Towers.

Method of assessment
60% Exam and 40% Coursework

What will I be able to progress to?
If you want to find a job after college this qualification may be an advantage. There are many Higher Education courses available to ICT students which will allow you to develop more specialised skills.
