Level 3 Diploma in Bench Joinery

The course has 3 mandatory units and a further 3 craft skill units. Level 3 Diploma in Bench Joinery -Health, Safety & Welfare in construction -Analysing technical information -Analysing the construction industry and built environment -Set up and operate woodworking machinery -Manufacture joinery products -Set and mark out joinery products Students are required to attend College for 1 year. On completion you should be able to use hand / powered tools and wood machines to produce items such as doors, frames and linings, windows, fitments & units and stairs.You will be continually assessed and you will progress through the knowledge and practical work at college. There will be practical training and assessment in the workshop. Underpinning knowledge is delivered through classwork, assignments, tutorials and lectures. Students will also take part in portfolio building sessions and end of unit exams.
