Course programme

This qualification has been developed for managers or senior staff working in a catering or manufacturing setting where food is prepared, cooked or handled. It is the responsibility of all food handlers to ensure that the food they serve is safe to eat. By law, food handlers must receive adequate supervision, instruction and training in food hygiene for the work they do. The course covers focuses on food safety legislation and responsibilities of management as well as covering food safety hazards and controls.
