Course programme

Individuals will need to hold a high level of responsibility for managing the assessment or development of children.

To achieve the full qualification, individuals must complete nine units including the following four core units:

  • Establish and develop working relationships
  • Support, policies, procedures and practice to safeguard children and ensure their inclusion and well-being
  • Support programmes for the promotion of children’s development
  • Reflect on, review and develop own practice

The optional units are chosen from a selection of 29.
