Level 4 NVQ in Health & Social Care (Adults)(2009/2010)
Study Method:
The programme is divided into a half day at college covering knowledge and understanding of one unit, followed by a half attendance in tutor groups and workshops, over a monthly period.
Duration :36 weeks. All students must attend a college interview and have supportive references.
Who the Course is For:
The NVQ Care Level 4 is a vocational qualification, which confirms that a candidate is competent to national standards both in theory and work practice.
Assessment:
Candidates will need to demonstrate their understanding of the theory of Care by answering written questions, writing personal statements, reflective accounts and reports. Candidates will also be observed in the workplace by the assessor, to ensure that they meet the performance criteria.
