Course Content:
This course is to provide child care workers with the skills and qualification they need to work in this industry. National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are made up of units of competence and all units need to be successfully completed to obtain the nationally recognised qualification. This course is suitable for those working in a senior role, with children aged 0-16 where the main purpose is childrens care, learning and development. All training will take place within the workplace.

How will I be Assessed? :
Over a period of time, you will build a portfolio, which demonstrates your competence whilst working with children. Assessment takes place in a variety of ways: observation within the workplace, collection of written testimonies, oral questioning, reflective account & case studies.
