Communicate with and complete records for individuals. Support the health and safety of yourself and individuals. Develop your knowledge and practice . Ensure your own actions support the care, protection and well being of individuals.

Candidates need to choose 2 more modules out of 27 options.

Entry Requirements

*A candidate must be working as a carer or
*Be able to get placement in care setting
* NVQ level 1
Assessment

The results are assessed by:

*Portfolio building
*External assessment

Progression

This Course equips the individual to work confidently as care assistants in care Homes such as Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Hospitals as well as domiciliary care settings. After this Level a candidate may wish to progress onto Level 3 and 4 in Care.
