Course programme

The course will include: Cooking, shopping and household tasks Creative activities and personal enrichment Running an enterprise Using your leisure time Personal and Social Development Practical Maths and English Students will develop skills in communication, practical number and using technology. The Life Skills course is delivered at Keighley College, Joseph Priestley Centre Beeston and Technology campus. All classes have full access to the learning support, care and access teams. The campuses are accessible to all, providing quality equipment and facilities such as the canteen, coffee shop, student area and library. Tutors use real situations and environments to develop students life skills. The city is a classroom. At the end of the year students could move onto the second year of Life Skills or onto the Skills for Independence and Work.
