Emagister adds to its catalog the LLB Law with Business with Foundation Year degree, you’ll study key legal topics and related skills to gain a wide understanding across a range of legal areas, necessary to obtaining a qualifying law degree.
A practical focus with real-world application of the law and business with employability embedded into the course. For students who wish to keep their options open for a career in the legal or wider business world. The first year is a Foundation year, which focuses on developing an understanding of the legal sector and the key skills required to undertake the full degree course. About this course
Applicants who possess 48 UCAS points from a maximum of 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications, plus GCSE Maths at Grade D/3 and GCSE English at Grade C/4, will receive an offer following a successful interview with an academic as part of the admisions process which will take place either face-to-face or via phone/skype.

Course programme
In each year you will study three modules per semester; six modules a year.
The Foundation year will involve the study of six modules to develop the necessary skills and introduce students to key concepts to enable progression onto our three year Law or Law with Business Degree courses.
Students studying at campuses who are also offering Law with Criminology, Law with Government & Politics and The University of Law Business School courses, may be able to choose options from these programmes as well.
Additional information
A non-standard application route is also available. Any applicant with no or limited formal qualifications will be invited in-centre to complete an in-house numeracy and literacy test (for those without GCSE Maths and English at D/3 and C/4 respectively), as well as a formal face-to-face interview. They will also need to provide 2 years of appropriate work experience evidenced in a full CV and one reference.
International entry requirements: An English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
