Course programme
Students with severe learning disabilities and/or on the autistic spectrum, aged between 18 - 25, the learners will benefit from working in a structured environment with a systematic approach, who'll be working through M5 - M8 to develop their communication skills, their personal and social development, their interactions with others and basic skills.
What qualifications or experience do I need ?Prospective candidates need to be working between milestones 5 - 8; candidates will be individually assessed for their suitability against the criteria, the expected course content and the accreditation on offer.
What will I study ?Social enterprise Art enterprise Gardening enterprise Total Communication Food exploration Dance and movement Drama Shop Recycling Personal and social development
How will I be assessed ?Base line and initial assessments, individual learning plans which include set learning goals against the learning milestones, individuals completed work.
What qualifications could I achieve ?College certificate to award attendance and participation.
