Course programme
The HSE defines a lone worker as those who work by themselves without close or direct supervision. These may include – people working separately from others in a building, people who work outside normal hours, people who work away from their fixed base without colleagues or people who work at home.
There are various regulations you need to comply with. These include the Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998, The Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992 and The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.
