This MA Education for Clinical Contexts has been specifically designed for doctors, dentists, senior nurses, allied health professionals and academics, involved in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching of clinicians.
It aims to attract particularly committed educators working in and around clinical contexts, who seek to both improve teaching and learning and to understand more fully the educational potential of their working environment, i.e. the sort of person who asks these types of questions:-

Course programme
StructureThe MA Education for Clinical Contexts is a three year part-time programme.
Over the first two years of the programme students complete 5-6 taught modules, and complete a 20,000 dissertation project in their third year.
Year 1ELECTIVE MODULES
Either:
ADP7101 - Learning and Teaching in HE (15 credits)
AND ADP7105: Developing Learning and Teaching in Medicine and (15 credits)
Or:
- Teaching and learning for clinical contexts (30 credits)
COMPULSORY MODULES
- Innovative practices and theories in clinical education (15 credits)
- Clinical curriculum evaluation and development (15 credits)
