Based on the two key aspects, the course will enable participants to:

Management of maintaining portable appliances:
•The legal requirements
•Understanding basic definitions
•Types of electrical equipment
•Duty holders and their responsibilities
•Procedural requirements for testing
•Data and documentation requirements
•Interpreting recorded results

The practical element of inspecting and testing electrical equipment:
•Classes and types of equipment
•Frequency of tests and its assessment
•Assessing environment, housekeeping, disconnection, equipment condition.
•Instrument: use/settings/assessing values
•Procedural requirements surrounding testing
•Types of tests & test procedures

Assessments include:
A practical assessment on the procedures for PAT.
The C&G2377-100 Management M/C test paper (online GOLA examination)
The C&G2377-200 Inspection & Testing M/C paper (online GOLA examination)
