Designed to be personally challenging, it will also introduce some tools that can be used to inspire and develop high performing teams and manage change. The workshop will include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality questionnaire, which can be completed prior to the event. Gill Hardy is an enterprising trainer, tutor and coach specialising in personal development, people management, leadership and teambuilding. Her strengths include ability to establish comfortable rapport with individuals, adaptable delivery style and commitment to CPD. She has worked for a wide range of organisations in the service, manufacturing and not-for-profit sectors and at all levels of management. Registered to administer and give feedback on the Myers Briggs Type Instrument (MBTI), a personality questionnaire Gill is a freelance tutor for the ILM.

Course programme

Managing and Motivating people is a bespkoe course that can be delivered over two days as required by the client and on client premises. A minimum of six delegate is required and no more than 12.

It is aimed at newly appointed managers, those who are experienced in the role but have had little or no management training and those aspiring to the role. However, it is personally challenging in that it uses the MBTI as a personal development tool which can be delivered prior to the event.

It covers personal awareness and development, time management, performance management and dealing effectively with change. As a bespoke offering these topics are suggestions and can be changed to meet specific requirements.

Through taking part in this workshop delegates will:

• Generate increased self-awareness to drive their personal development.
• Be able to plan, prioritise and organise self to meet important deadlines and get things done.
• Explore the key skills of performance management and understand how to give timely and supportive feedback.
• Understand what happens when change happens and how to manage the process and people
