Marine Biology and Coastal Zone Management - Foundation Degree (Lancaster University)

This Marine Biology programme focuses on the development of skills in Marine Biology, appropriate to employment in the assessment, analysis and evaluation of coastal and Marine Biology / conservation issues. It integrates theoretical knowledge and understanding of Marine Biology with practical expertise, while developing transferable skills directly applicable to the work context and to serve future employability needs. Our multi-disciplinary approach to Marine Biology allows you to acquire analytical, communication, problem-solving, scientific and technological skills together with practical techniques of enquiry and sound business principles, all of which may be applied to the conservation and management of valued marine and coastal environments and species.
