Course Content
"It is imperative that all members of the dental team are trained how to respond to any medical emergency that may occur
within the dental practice."
BDA Advice Sheet A3.
The DBG's Red Cross trained instructors will give the clinical team "on-site" training on CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation), and emergency drugs and equipment.
The course will include:
- Practical CPR Demonstrations
on resuscitation manikins. - "Hands on" practice to build confidence.
- Advice and demonstration on Automated Defibrillation.
- Attendance Certificates.
- Bespoke Emergency Protocol.
Advice will be given on the drugs to hold considering the treatments you provide.
The Dental Team will each receive an attendance certificate confirming two hours of Verifiable CPD.
There will be an additional charge for CPR and Infection Control courses held outside 9.00am to 5.30pm weekday hours.
Remember: CPR training should occur annually as per Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
