This course is for people who have completed mindfulness training and would like to become a Mindfulness Trainer. The programme is presented in a format that will allow new teachers to conduct courses/ workshops for individuals, groups and companies. The course provides a framework which presents the life-changing benefits of meditation to be practised. Students will be equipped both theoretically and practically teach mindfulness techniques.
About this course
This course is intended for people who have completed a mindfulness based stress reduction course, who would like to learn to deliver mindfulness to others. This course is based on the teachings of Jon Kabat -Zinn
To attend this course, one must have completed a mindfulness based stress reduction course and subsequently continued their daily practice for approximately one year. Also, this course is open to qualified yoga teachers.
A certificate in teaching mindfulness based stress reduction (accredited by the Complementary Medical Association)
Jilly Edmundson, who will be delivering the course, has studied, researched and lectured on Mindfulness/ meditation and holds a Professional Certificate in Education and BSc, in Complementary Medicine and Health Sciences, MSc in Psychology and, is also a qualified yoga instructor.

The program is based on Jon Kabat-Zinn's Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme. Participants will learn the theory and techniques of Mindfulness practice. In addition, participants will learn how to present and teach mindfulness meditation to clients and groups.
Pre- requisites: Participants must have completed an MBSR course (not necessarily with Inessentia/ the Holistic Coach House), and developed their subsequent meditation practice. This course is accredited by the Complementary Medical Association.
