What does the course involve?:

Topics will include:

-legislation relating to moving and handling

-the spine and its vulnerability to injury

-ergonomic approach

-risk assessment

-principles of safe moving and handling.

Various days, 9.00am - 1.00pm or 1.00pm - 5.00pm

Are there any exams?:
Continuous assessment of practical skills and a multiple choice question paper.
