In this module you will acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and understanding of big data acquisition and analysis to gain insight into personalized medicine approaches. In order to achieve this you will attend a series of lectures and workshops covering the theory and practice of multi-omic approaches, as well as other 'state of the art' techniques in generating large data sets along with their analysis. This will provide you with the foundation skills necessary to begin identifying potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets within complex pathophysiological mechanisms that underlie many diseases.
