This is an examination based course, which gives Delegates accreditation to Managing Successful Programmes Foundation Level. Learning objectives:

Discuss and understand the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP ) approach, building on the Delegates own experience and knowledge of large-scale change

Discuss how MSP could be applied in real life situations and undertake practical work in a supportive training environment

Gain respected Programme Management qualifications

Course content:

· How programmes come about
· Identifying the outline of what the programme is to deliver
· Defining in detail what the programme is to deliver and determining whether it is worthwhile
· Managing the programme including ensuring Benefits Realisation, effective and appropriate Stakeholder Management, Handling Issues and managing risks across the programme
· Ensuring that the programme remains worthwhile and aligned to strategic objectives
· Delivering the required outcomes to the required quality
· Programme reviews and audit
· Practical Application Exercises
· Exam Preparation Course Structure: Suggested 15 hours of pre-course preparation
3-day Course
40 min multiple choice, closed book Foundation Exam on the third day;
Delegates are encouraged to complete 1-2 hours of evening work on each day of course We provide the following essentials: Access to our online MSP Delegate Centre providing both pre and post course support
Pre-course reading pack including OGC's Managing Successful Programmes and Maven Training MSP Pre-Course Workbook
Comprehensive coursework useful as a reference guide when returning to the office
