Nail Art Workshop College Certificate

Course Overview
This introductory workshop is suitable for Beauty Therapists, Manicurists or Nail Tehnicians interested in learning freehand nail art techniques to update their skills and services. You do not have to be artistic to attend this workshop as you will be shown a variety of techniques to use.

Course Structure
The intrductory course is carried out over five hours and consists of:

• Health & Safety (Breif Overview)
• Hygiene (Brief overview)
• Consultation (Brief overview)
• Preparation
• Implements and products
• contra-indications to treatment
• Nail Art Techniques (Rhinestones, Foil, Striping Tape, Glitter Dust, Flatstones, Jewellery, Transfers, Hand Painting.
• Aftercare advice

Assessments/Examinations
All students are required to carry out a practical assessment at the end of the session. The practical assessment is assessed by the Lecturer/Assessor for competency.
There is a multiple-choice question paper at the end of the session.

This is a self financing workship and as such there is no fee remission available. The fees are to be paid prior to the start of the course to reserve your place.
