Who is the course for?
People with a manicure and pedicure qualification completed within the last 3 years who wish to advance their techniques with acrylic nails. People working in the nail industry who wish to add another dimension to their business.

What is the course about?
During the course you will have the opportunity to acquire skills in acrylic nail systems and a knowledge of other nail systems. Employment standards will be an integral part of the course.

Unit covered: VR10, Nail Technology.

A portfolio of evidence will be produced, therefore a camera will be required and you will be required to provide your own stationery, including a ring binder, dividers and plastic wallets.

You will be required to provide your own models.

How long & often do I attend?
This course is offered for one session per week. You will be required to attend for a minimum of 90% of the course hours. You will be required to attend on the day of the External Verifiers visit.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is via continuous observations, assignments and tests. A portfolio of evidence will need to be submitted, and an external test will need to be completed.

What opportunities will this lead to?
Other courses such as gel nails or nail art. You may wish to gain employment as a nail technician in a salon. Other beauty/holistic courses.
