Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs Grade D, incl. English. (Maths D for some courses). Or Pass in Level 1 Vocational Qual., Merit for BTECs, plus Key Skills Level 1 Comm. (App. of Number for some courses) or equivalent. Diplomas require Functional Skills in ICT, Maths and English.

Duration: 1 year

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: Assessed through internal assignments, course work, work experience and portfolio evidence. You will learn through completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.

Progression Routes: This qualification enables candidates to enter employment at trainee level, for example: Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Nursery Assistant. On completion of this course candidates could progress on to OCR Level 3 or a childcare course.
