Who is the programme for? This programme is for those who have an interest in Fashion and Clothing and have previously achieved the National Award in Fashion and Clothing.

What will I study? The course is practical and consists of 18 units, including: *Fashion Design *Fashion Marketing *Visualisation *Garment Construction Techniques *Screen printing and Dyeing Processes. This will form an integral part of your studies and will generate your portfolio. Units also include elements of research and academic writing. All projects will be exciting and innovative. They will enable you to develop a personal style and specialist skills.

Entry to the Programme?

How is it assessed? You will work on a range of practical assignments and projects. These will be assessed by a tutor who will award a grade and provide feedback. They will also advise how you can improve your work in the future. All projects are coursework based, there are no exams for this programme.

Future prospects? On successful completion of the National Diploma in Fashion and Clothing you may progress into Higher Education at degree level or employment.

When will the programme start? The programme will start in September 2009.

How long will it take? This is a full time course and will run for one academic year.

What about the Money? If you are under 19 on 31st August 2009 you will not have to pay tuition or registration fees. If you are over 19 years of age

How do I apply? Complete an application form and return it to Student Services, you will then be asked to attend College for an interview.
