      This internal quality assurance (IQA) course is designed for all those professionals involved in the IQA process. Participants in this 30 hour course will develop techniques and an understanding of how to prepare an IQA plan. Participants will learn how to effectively manage their teams. Gain a basic knowledge of the operations of a standardization meeting. Practice planning and preparing an IQA plan. Learn what IQA plans entail and how to maximize the result. Learn to manage information related to IQA. After completing this course, participants will be able to prepare a high-quality internal quality assurance plan.

      What I would highlight: I really enjoyed the course, it stretched and challenged me and I found it difficult at times but this was a good thing as it developed the gaps in my theory knowledge.
      What could be improved: Nothing here.

      Unit 1 is for those professionals wanting an understanding of the IQA process.

      Unit 1-Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment. Unit accreditation no. T/601/5320.

      The aim of this unit is to assess the knowledge and understanding a learning and development practitioner requires for the internal quality assurance of assessment. ‘Practitioner’ means anyone with a learning and development responsibility as whole or part of their role.
