What will I study?
This course aims to introduce learners to an intermediate standard of skills that will be required in the chosen service. The course is a mix of theory and practical sessions that will improve students chances of future employment; even if they should you decide not to enter a uniformed service. This is a uniformed course and students will need to agree to acquire and wear the course uniform whilst at college or on college business.

How can I progress?
* NCFE Level 3 Certificate for Entry to the Uniformed Services Or with exemplary results; * BTEC National Diploma in Public Services (Uniformed)

What will I need to qualify for this course?
In order to qualify for this course students can: *Progress from Level 1 having passed with NO disciplinary procedures and good attendance and punctuality with references from subject leaders. Outside Applicants are required to have; *3 GCSEs (at C or above). *Good references from school regarding behaviour, attendance and punctuality, *Basic levels of fitness with a willingness to regularly be pushed to improve.

Course Structure
In order to gain a full NCFE Level 2 Certificate for Entry to the Uniformed Services these units will be studied; *World of Work How students can get the job they want, *Physical fitness Ensuring the students reach the Physical level needed, *Teamwork and Problem Solving Understanding how to work with others, *Service Routine How the Uniformed Serviced operate, *Map and Compass how to navigate when in the field, *Health & Safety How to work safely and minimise accidents, *Competitive Sports The services are keen on sports persons, *Adventurous Outdoor Activities Climbing, High ropes etc.
