NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health

Course learning outcomes include:
- Get a balanced perspective of the full scope of occupational safety and health issues.
- Be able to organise and communicate an effective safety program.
- Learn techniques to identify and target hazards specific to your organisation and take actions to prevent incidents.

Aspiring occupational health & safety practitioners (OHASPs) requiring a strong core knowledge and higher level management. Completion of a NEBOSH National General Certificate is highly recommended.

There are no prerequisite entry requirements, though students will find it helpful to have completed the National General Certificate first. Students should also be aware that this is a demanding qualification - approximately equivalent to an honours degree level - and therefore may find is very difficult if they do not have this background knowledge and/or the ability and application to study at this level.

NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety

The NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety provides the knowledge and understanding that underpins competent performance as a higher-level Occupational Health and Safety Provider (OHASP).

Becoming successfully qualified for the diploma opens a number of professional membership options including GradIOSH, CMIOSH, MIIRSM and RMaPS. Note however that acceptance is at the discretion of the bodies in question for each.
