This Level 3 qualification is designed to help those with Health and Safety responsibilities to discharge more effectively their organisation's duties and functions. Designed for specialists who seek to attain a professional qualification.

The programme comprises of: * Health and safety foundations; * Policy; * Organising for health and safety;

• Promoting a positive health and safety culture; * Risk assessment;* Principles of control;* Movement of people and vehicles hazards and control;* Electrical hazards and control;* Fire hazards and control;* Work equipment hazards and control; * Chemical and biological health hazards;* Physical and psychological health hazards and control;* Construction activities - hazards, control, incident investigation;* Monitoring, review and audit.

How will I learn?

This is a taught day release course over 15 weeks and the final exam will take place on the 16th week.

What else might I want to know?

Assessment is undertaken by a practical assessment and an end examination that is timetabled by NEBOSH, comprising of two written papers.
