Designed for those with career aspirations in Nursing who wish to gain entry to the Diploma in Nursing. Although Course Content greatly exceeds the CATCH requirements for entry to the Diploma, selection is by the appropriate university and practical nursing experience (eg. voluntary or paid work in a nursing home or caring for a sick relative) is often considered important. This course gives students the academic background to cope with university Nursing Diploma programmes.

Course Description

Course Content
Biology Chemistry Physics Mathematics Computing Communication Study Skills. Please note this programme contains a work practice unit.

Progression
Please note that successful students will progress to a Higher Diploma in Nursing. Students who perform well will be given the option to progress to BA Nursing. Career opportunities in midwifery and in adult, child, mental health, care and learning disability nursing.
