NVQ in Health & Social Care Level 2

An NVQ at Level 2 in Health and Social Care is designed for most care Workers within Health and Social Care who work under the direction and Guidance of other staff.

Structure of the NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
The qualification has core and optional units of which 6 units in total must be completed to achieve this NVQ.
· In Social Care all 4 Core units must be achieved plus 2 from the

Optional units.
· In Health settings it is possible to complete 2 Core units, 2 Optional units and the 2 remaining units to be taken from either
The core group or option set. This profile is not transferable to the social care sector.

Candidate Commitment

1. We will enroll candidates with EDI for NVQ Health & Social Care
2. An appropriate assessor/IV support will be determined to suit the individual and companies requirement
3. All issues of the programme will be effectively managed by our appointed assessors
4. The level and method of assessing/support will be appropriate to the needs of the Students.
5. Candidates will be allocated a training advisor to be available for support throughout their Training programme

NVQ Health & Social Care Level 2 provides the care workers with recognition for the day today care delivery they provide to their client group. You must be working in a Health or Social Care setting and have at least 6 months
practical experience as a Care Assistant/Health Care Assistant.
