NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service
This qualification looks at developing, implementing and maintaining administrative services for customers. It is aimed at those people aiming towards a higher level personal responsibility.

Learners must complete seven units, two of which are mandatory.

The two mandatory units are:
  • Understand customer service to improve service delivery
  • Know the rules to follow when developing customer service
Optional units (which are decided in consultation with your assessor) may include:
  • Make customer service personal
  • Go the extra mile in customer service
  • Deal with customers in writing or use ICT
  • Use customer service as a competitive tool
  • Organise the promotion of services or products to customers
  • Recognise diversity when delivering customer service
  • Organise the delivery of reliable customer service
  • Improve the customer relationship
  • Monitor and solve customer service problems
  • Process customer service complaints
  • Work with others to promote customer service
  • Promote continuous improvement in customer service
  • Develop your own and others' customer service skills
  • Lead a team to improve customer service

When you come for assessment we will work with you to identify the appropriate start date, duration, level of study, content and qualification which will help you achieve your personal and employment goals.

Work placements
Work placement opportunities can be arranged to help you gain practical experience. To prepare you for this you will work within the College's Training Office, gaining administrative skills before progressing onto an internal work placement within one of RNC's busy teams.
