Who is it for?

What is it about?
- The National Occupational Standards for retail, developed by Skillsmart Retail, are the focus of both the training and the accreditation of this NVQ.
- Skills and competencies will be assessed and accredited against these Standards
- Therefore a candidates personal development will be guided by these Standards.
- The natural starting point for progression to one of the specialist pathways at NVQ Level 3 - Sales Professional, Visual Merchandising and Management.
It is a modular qualification made up of six units: one mandatory and five optional (the most relevant optional units can be selected according to a candidate’s individual role). The diverse range of available units reflects the diverse range of occupational functions within the retail sector.
