Online Auditing An ISO 45001:2018 OHS Management System

Participants will also be provided with knowledge of safety management system standards, and specifically, auditing against the international standard ISO 45001:2018. Awareness of auditing compliance with applicable OH&S legislative requirements and/or industry-specific accreditation or specification systems against agreed benchmarks is also included.

This course is designed for people who have managerial responsibilities for their organization’s OHSMS and/or are responsible for managing, monitoring and auditing the performance of the system. It is also designed for health and safety practitioners who have been or will become involved in OH&S assurance audits, second party (i.e. vendor) audits and/or third-party audits.

The course focuses on developing the knowledge and practical skills of participants in the principals and practices of auditing the performance of OHSMS.

This course also forms part of the five-day Lead Auditor course for those participants planning to become an OHS Lead Auditor.

There are no prerequisites for this course. However it is assumed that participants have a good working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and are employed in a relevant OHS role and have access to an organization to conduct workplace-based assessment tasks in order to gain the nationally recognized units of competency.

SAI Global has a number of non-accredited introductory ISO 45001 courses to assist participants to develop fundamental skills and knowledge of ISO 45001:2018.

It is recommended that this course is completed following completion of the Online ISO 45001:2018 Foundation course.

Upon successful completion of online quiz, participants can print their own Certificate of Achievement.

To receive a Certificate of Attainment, participants must complete and submit the Offline Assessment/Post Course Assessment (PCA) and be deemed Competent.
